Why we built this

Most people only deal with the planning system once or twice in their life, usually with a short deadline and no idea where to start. A planning consultant can cost hundreds of pounds and take days you often don’t have - and the alternative, an objection built on frustration rather than planning policy, tends to get disregarded by the case officer.

Planning Defender exists to close that gap: a way for anyone to put together a properly grounded objection in minutes, for a fraction of a consultant’s fee, without needing to learn planning policy first.
