The service

Planning Defender is operated by David Fowler as a sole trader (not a registered company), and provides a guided platform that helps you draft a planning objection letter, for a fixed fee of £12.99 per letter. We do not submit anything on your behalf — you review, edit and send the letter yourself, using the submission details we provide.

Not legal or professional advice

As set out in full in our Disclaimer, this service provides guidance and drafting assistance only. It does not constitute legal, planning or professional advice, and we accept no responsibility for the content, accuracy or outcome of any letter you generate or submit.

Payment and refunds

Payment is taken via Stripe before your letter is generated. Because this is a digital service that begins and completes within minutes of payment, once your letter has been generated we are unable to offer a refund, except where the service has materially failed to deliver (for example, a technical fault prevented your letter from being generated at all). If you believe this has happened, contact us via our Contact page.

Your responsibilities

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for reviewing and editing your letter before sending it, and for submitting it yourself before any relevant deadline. You must not use this service to submit false, defamatory, or abusive content.

Intellectual property

The letter generated for you is yours to use as you see fit. The platform itself, including its design, code and branding, remains the property of Planning Defender.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this service, including any loss connected to the outcome of a planning application. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
